🌈子どもの歯科治療で大切にしていること🌈

子どもの歯科治療について
私が昔からずっと心掛けていることがあります。それは、
・子どもとして接しない。人として接する
・嘘をつかない
・そして、心を開いて、子どもの話を聴く
・子どもと協力しながら的確に最短で治療を終える
ということです。
大人と同じように目を合わせて挨拶をして、大人と同じようにきちんとわかりやすく何をするか説明する。怖くないことを伝える。
本当はもしかしたら少し痛いかもしれないのに、今日は痛くないよ、などと嘘をつかない。
本人ときちんと話し合い、何が怖いのか、どこまでなら頑張れるか相談する。
素直な心を持っているこども達は
私達が思っているよりよほど大人で、想いは伝わる、とずっと思っています。

🌈What I always keep in mind when treating children🌈

There are a few things I’ve always valued deeply:
• Treat children not as children, but as individuals.
• Never lie.
• Open my heart and truly listen to them.
• Work together to complete treatment accurately and efficiently.
I greet them with eye contact, explain clearly what will be done,
and make sure they understand there’s nothing to be afraid of.

Even if something might hurt a little,
I never say, “It won’t hurt today.”
Instead, I talk with them — about what they’re afraid of,
and how far they feel they can go.

Children, with their honest hearts,are far more mature than we imagine.
And they can always feel our sincerity.
That’s what I believe — and how I choose to treat them.
